Toddler mini trampoline vs adult exercise trampoline - what's the difference?

I would like to buy a mini trampoline for the kids. The exercise tramps seem to hold more weight and be more sturdy than the kiddie tramps. Why would one buy a kiddie tramp over an adult trampoline?
