Does anyone know what this kids prog was?

it was on bbc 1 / cbbc in the mid 90s. there were 2 boys who fell in a cavern and found a spaceship thing. i think they found a roman skeleton with it. the ship was red/rust coloured and was an oval shape with 2 seats. it could be made invisible too. think its name began with A. does anyone remember the name, year out etc. think one of the boys was called tom.
