Should I get a jenday conure?

I(14) my sister(12) and my brother(4) will be at school from 8-2 and my dad would be at work during these hours. but my mom would be home all day to interact with the birdie. I will be home immediately after school and most of the time on weekends.my mom and dad will buy it for me for my birthday at the end of November. I have done my research and it seems that this bird will suit my family. I would like to have a higher level bird then a parakeet or atiel. we have had parakeets and finches in the past, but we currently have none. noise doesn't matter. my cousin has Congo greys and amazons so I'm sure he could give me some advice. thank you!!
